    July 17-18, 2010


    Directed by Nat'l TD David Kuhns, and organized by the Dr. Sisira Amarasinghe of the Ceylon Chess Club.

    Five games, swiss pairings, in two sections:


    Open (FIDE and USCF rated): Entry fee is -FIDE titled players (FM, IM, GM, WIM, WGM) enter free (any prizes won will be reduced by $50), FIDE rated players: $50. FIDE unrated and rated at or over 1600 USCF: $70.FIDE unrated and rated under 1600 USCF: $90. Prizes are, based on 30 entrants: 1st: $400, 2nd: $250, 3rd: $150; Best FIDE unrated: $150

    U1600 (USCF rated): Entry fees: $40. Prizes are, based on 30 entrants: 1st: $250, 2nd: $200, 3rd: $150; Best U1400: $100

    For both sections.
    Time control is game in 90 minutes+ 30 sec increment. Round times are 10-3-7:30, Sunday 11-4.
