The recent addition of a new sponsor has enabled us to guarantee the entire prize fund for the 6th Annual Jackson Open. The prize fund has increased to $700. Furthermore, the entire amount is being guaranteed!
Accordingly, chess players rated under 2000 are sought to dethrone John Flores as defending champion. This is not some lame attempt to boast, but rather, an invitation to join a great bunch of people for some good chess at a scenic area on the border of Minnesota and Iowa.
